We are looking for an Senior Account Manager to own and grow a portfolio of small and recurring accounts, keep clients moving from signed deal to formal acceptance, and build qualified pipeline for CoderPush’s software and AWS cloud business.
This is a revenue role with real account ownership, not a coordination role. You will manage client relationships, support strategic deals, and close smaller software or Cloud Billing opportunities where possible.
Location: Hybrid in Hanoi
How You’ll Work With Clients
- Accounts you own: Act as the single point of contact for assigned small and recurring accounts, owning relationship quality, retention, and expansion opportunities.
- Strategic deals you support: For larger deals led by the Managing Director, CCO, or Senior Account Manager, run working-level follow-up, documentation, scheduling, information requests, and negotiation support.
- Deals you source yourself: Hunt, own, and close deals independently where possible. Commission rates are highest for self-sourced opportunities, especially AWS / GCP Cloud Billing deals.
What You Will Do
- Manage communication, feedback, and escalations for assigned accounts.
- Coordinate with technical teams after each deal closes and track delivery milestones until formal client acceptance.
- Identify upsell and expansion opportunities inside assigned accounts and drive them toward closed deals.
- Attend client meetings with the MD / CCO and send follow-ups within 24 hours, ideally on the same business day.
- Run outbound and inbound follow-up, qualify leads to SQL, and keep CRM data accurate and up to date.
- Support proposals, scheduling, information requests, and working-level negotiation for strategic accounts.
- Close small software and Cloud Billing deals directly where possible.
- Deliver weekly status reports on time.
- Complete the AWS Cloud Practitioner certification within the first 12 weeks, with structured coaching provided.
- 5+ years of experience in B2B client-facing work, Proven experience in similar roles such as sales, account management, client success, or premium service industries.
- 3+ years in IT Sales, Solution sales, focus more on Hunting roles
- Strong project management and organizational skills, strong researching and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, Proactive, independent, and comfortable taking ownership of outcomes.
- Detail-oriented with a strong drive to achieve targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confident Vietnamese and conversational or better English.
- Calm, professional presence when working with senior stakeholders.
- Strong appearance and presentation, as you will represent CoderPush in client meetings.
- Organized, CRM-savvy, and disciplined about follow-through.
- Genuine curiosity about cloud and AI technology and IT in general, with commitment to completing the AWS certification path.
- Strong awareness of information security when handling customer information, sales records, contracts, proposals, and other business documents. You are expected to use CRM, Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and other business tools securely, follow company information classification and document-sharing requirements, and promptly report risks such as phishing, unauthorized access, or accidental data disclosure.
Success Metrics in the First 12 Months
- 100% follow-up within 24 hours after every client meeting.
- 5+ quality touches per lead within two weeks.
- Complete and timely CRM updates and weekly reporting.
- AWS Cloud Practitioner certification completed by week 12.
- No assigned recurring account lost for service-quality reasons.
- USD 50,000-100,000 in attributed revenue from small deals and expansions you drive.
- Formal client acceptance obtained and tracked for all projects under your coordination.
Future Growth & Benefits
- Commission: Uncapped commission on gross profit under the CoderPush Sales Compensation Policy. Rates depend on who sourced the deal; self-sourced Cloud Billing can pay 15-20% of gross profit and is open to every role.
- 13th month: 0% / 50% / 100% / 150% of one month’s base salary, decided by your annual KPI scorecard.
- Path to Senior Account Manager: Roughly USD 100,000+ self-sourced attributed revenue, proven ability to close founder-referred deals independently, and a KPI score of 70+.
