1. Sales & Profit
- Forecast profits and sales, and optimizing the sales volume and profitability of designated product areas.
- Plan budgets and present sales plan to achieve company budget.
- Plan stock levels/control TOD.
2. Drive 4Ps
- Competitor survey to setting competitive retail price. Follow company price range for each category.
- Develop and maintain assortment plan: key items, translating the assortment strategy into plans that project the inventory required.
- Develop and execute the historical analysis and forecast inputs to ensure item plans and financial plans are aligned.
- Building POG to adapt customer's behavior/ highlight differentiation point/ most effective for sale.
- Monitor slow moving items and taking action to reduce prices or set promotions as necessary.
3. Supplier management
- Involved in planning, sourcing and recommending suitable merchandise from local and overseas suppliers.
- Ensure suppliers have the capability and capacity to provide product in line with agreed timescales and quality standards.
- Build and maintain excellent relationship and network with suppliers.
- Coordinate with Supplier Management Department to:
- Review of purchase contracts for products.
- Critically analyze performance reports of suppliers, in term of technical capabilities, conformance to quality and delivery, and price competitiveness.
- Perform supplier audits when necessary to ensure conformance to company policies and directives.
4. Build relation with others teams
- Work with Marketing team to building promotion on catelogue.
- Work with omni channel team to promote product on online channel.
- Work with Supplier Management team to ensure product listing on time.
- Work with Operation team to ensure product display correct location/ correct POG/ ensure stock on selling floor.
- Maintain effective internal communications channel particularly with other Merchandise team, operations, sales & marketing, logistic and other functions within the organization.
- Support PB team to develop PB product.
5. Develop category
- Re-assess article performance on a regular basis to identify and deal with any old stock.
- Proactively evaluate and act on results of promotional activity to implement any key learning’s.
- Develop a range assortment that delivers Competitive Advantage in the Vietnamese Market.
- Full responsibility in the development and implementation of Private Brand Strategy within the Category.
